Migraine Natural Treatment

According to the WHO, Migraine is one of the most disturbing medical problems around the world. A migraine is recognized by a sore pain, usually restricted to one side in the head and tends to get worse with movement. They usually last from 4-72 hours.

Signs and symptoms of migraine are differ from one person to another. People often experience tingling signs in head, blind spots, flashes and increased sensitivity to light and sound, vibrating in the arms and legs and vomiting.
Signs like irritation, hungers, a rigid neck, and constipation may also take place prior to a migraine problem.

About a huge number of migraine patients have a family hormonal problem of this disease. This composite health condition is supposed to be caused by variations in brain elements.

Some possible causes for a migraine are allergies, anxiety, smoking, alcohol consumption, flash of lights, and loud noises, solid scents, avoiding meals, dryness, unbalanced sleep, poor body posture, diabetes and hormonal imbalance.

However there is no recognized prevention for migraines, you can use some natural home therapies given, to get relief from migraine headaches and reduce their occurrence.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Being a nutritious center, apple cider vinegar helps reduce migraines. Apple cider vinegar also gives health aids like relieving in detoxification, regulating diabetes, controlling high blood pressure, reducing muscular pain, encouraging weight loss and helps in constipation.

If you are not fond of using apple cider vinegar, start by taking one teaspoon and progressively increase the amount. During migraine problem or when you feel their incoming, you can expand the dosage.

2. Ice Pack

Using an ice pack is possibly the cheapest and most popular home remedy to get rid of stress as well as migraine. It has a warm effect that eases pain.

You can also try alternating hot and cold bandages for few minutes, as per your problem. For better improvisation, add peppermint and lavender essential oils into the water for better and cold compress.

3. Peppermint

The anti-irritation and anti-inflammatory properties of peppermint provide relief to the nerves. In addition, it has a calming and antispasmodic effect.
Simply use peppermint with honey. Repeat as per your required.

You can also massage each of your affected area with essential peppermint oil or with a composition of peppermint and lavender oils. Do these sufficient times, until you get relief.

4. Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne pepper is a great household remedy for migraines because it increases movement and improves blood flow. Also, it has capsaicin, a compound that works as a regular analgesic.
Optionally, you can add lemon juice and honey with cayenne to improve its taste as well as health benefits.

5. Chamomile

Chamomile has anti-irritation and calmative properties that help to reduce migraines. Usually having chamomile tea can also help prevent the problem.
Addition of lemon juice and honey with chamomile helps recover from headaches and strain. Drink chamomile tea at least two times a day for a better relief from migraine symptoms.

6. Ginger

Drink ginger tea a few times during the course until you get relief. Make sure to drink it at the beginning of your headache.
Simply eating raw ginger root will also help treat the problem and it also provide relief from the warning sign like vomiting and digestive pain.
